Spiced Sweet Potato Smoothie Bowl

If you’re a fan of cinnamon spiced treats or creamy, thick, and naturally sweet smoothies, this recipe is for you. My spiced sweet potato smoothie bowl is the perfect, healthy, fall treat for all the smoothie lovers out there.

  • 1 small sweet potato cooked, chopped, and frozen
  • 1/3 banana frozen if possible
  • 1 cup cauliflower frozen
  • 1 Tbsp. almond butter
  • 1 medjool date pitted
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or other plant-based milk

toppings (optional):

  • chia seeds
  • hemp seeds
  • shredded coconut
  • granola
  • extra sliced banana
  • extra nut butter—for drizzling


  • Place all ingredients in blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping the edges halfway through to ensure evenness.
  • Scrape into bowl, sprinkle with toppings if desired and serve immediately.


*If you plan on making smoothies frequently, I definitely suggest investing in a good blender. (I went through 3 cheep blenders over the course of one semester in college. no joke). I love my Vitamix - probably one of the best Christmas gifts I’ve ever received. It literally holds up anything. You can buy them certified refurbished which helps cut the cost and still gives you a great product.
